Adopting an animal

Adoption of cats and dogs

If you wish to adopt a dog or cat from the Animal Home, you will be required to complete a questionnaire and have a home visit from one of our team of volunteer homecheckers. We aim to ensure that not only is the animal right for the people, but the people right for the animal. A non-refundable adoption fee of £125 for a dog, £75 for a cat is required. This partially covers the cost of neutering and identichipping the dog or cat and the cost of vaccinations whilst in our care.

We also have rabbits and various other small animals available for adoption - please contact us to find out if we have what you are looking for. Please bear in mind the following before adopting an animal from us:Having Pets can be quite expensive, expenses incurred include weekly food bills, yearly boosters, boarding fees at holiday periods plus any unforeseen veterinary treatment.
